Outwood Academy Newbold continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school. The pupils express pride in their school and feel safe, knowing that staff are proactive in addressing any bullying issues. The leadership has worked diligently to ensure that pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are well-supported and able to achieve academically. However, while the curriculum is ambitious, some students feel that certain subjects, particularly ‘Life’ lessons, do not fully meet their needs, indicating a desire for more engaging and relevant content.
