Penistone Grammar School continues to maintain its status as a good school, with leaders holding high aspirations for their pupils. Students are achieving well in their examinations and generally exhibit respect and focus in their learning environments. Teachers deliver high-quality lessons and employ effective strategies to support pupils' understanding and knowledge retention. Although pupils generally demonstrate good behavior, there are concerns regarding the reporting of bullying and a small minority of students facing derogatory language from peers, which the school actively addresses when noticed.
