Longhill High School is currently facing several challenges, reflected in its recent inspection which indicates that the overall effectiveness, quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management all require improvement. Staff recruitment issues and changes at the senior leadership level have disrupted the school, leading to inconsistent attendance and variable attitudes among students, which have negatively impacted their academic performance. However, the recent leadership changes are starting to yield improvements, with higher expectations and a more positive school environment being implemented. Students are beginning to appreciate these changes, citing better communication with parents and enhanced behaviour policies.
