All Saints School

All Saints School is an independent special school for pupils with SEND, nearly all of whom have EHC plans and many of whom have experienced significant trauma or educational disruption. Inspectors found the school performing at an exceptionally high level overall, with safeguarding met and all independent school standards met. Attendance and behaviour, inclusion, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing are all exceptional. Pupils who previously had low or no attendance now attend very well, behaviour is superb, and highly vulnerable pupils receive bespoke wraparound support that transforms their life chances. The school's main strengths lie in its deeply nurturing culture, exceptionally precise identification of needs, skilled pastoral and learning support, and strong leadership that has sustained a cohesive vision over time. Pupils achieve well, benefit from a broad and aspirational curriculum, and move on to sustained positive destinations. Staff are highly positive about leadership, professional development and wellbeing. The only notable areas for development are minor: very occasionally, teaching is not precisely matched to pupils' understanding, which can leave a few pupils less confident in their knowledge or making slightly less progress through the curriculum.
