Giggleswick Primary School has been found to provide a good quality of education, reflecting its overall effectiveness. Pupils exhibit strong pride in their school and a sense of community, underpinned by a respectful atmosphere and positive relationships between staff and students. The school has established high expectations for both learning and behavior, fostering an environment where pupils feel safe and valued. Additionally, the curriculum is ambitious and clearly sequenced, catering effectively to the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). However, there are areas that require further attention, particularly in ensuring older pupils develop quick recall of mathematical facts and in the consistency of assessment systems across the curriculum. Notably, this inspection follows the school's previous assessment, and it continues to improve under the leadership of its executive headteacher since January 2023.
