Southport Education Group's recent inspection reflects that while the overall effectiveness requires improvement, key areas such as the quality of education and personal development are rated as good. The college offers a wide range of vocational and academic programs, engaging over 1,900 learners, and showing notable strengths in curriculum planning and skills acquisition for adult learners. However, attendance issues among both young learners and apprentices, along with challenges in the quality of apprenticeship training, have raised concerns that the leadership must address to enhance overall student success and satisfaction.
