John Spendluffe Foundation Technology College is a secondary school with academy status, located at Hanby Lane in Alford, Lincolnshire (LN13 9BL). Established in 1930, the institution has undergone significant development and grounded elements of respect, responsibility, and resilience at its core values. The school caters to students between the ages of 11 to 16, with a mixed gender student body of approximately 612, and a staff complement of 44 teaching and 21 administrative staff members.

Under the leadership of Principal Simon Curtis, John Spendluffe Foundation Technology College maintains a broad and balanced curriculum, including departments such as English, Humanities, ICT, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Expressive Arts, Physical Education, Special Educational Needs, Science, and Technology. Through a motivational and inspiring approach, the school encourages student leadership and achievement in academic, sport, creative, and performing arts fields.

The school is an academy and was recognized as a Technology College in 2003 under the specialist schools program. With Andreas Tagliabue as the Chair of Governors, John Spendluffe Foundation Technology College converted to academy status in August 2011. Despite not having a sixth form, the school serves as a popular alternative for students living in the Alford area, offering a well-rounded education that supports and enables students to become the best they can be.
