Cathedral Primary School (CPS) is a mixed-gender, non-selective school located in the historic Cabot area of Bristol, England, sharing an address with Bristol Cathedral Choir School (BCCS) at College Square BS1 5TS. The school is a Secondary Academy with a strong musical tradition, offering a unique blend of education and chorister training.

The school has deep roots in history, as the main building is part of St. Augustine's Abbey, founded in 1140. The Abbey house and Deanery are also designated as grade II* listed buildings, owing to their architectural significance. Architecturally, the site includes newer buildings such as the Cresswell Centre and the Parsonage, opened in 2008.

Academically, Cathedral Primary School prepares students for ages 11 to 18. It serves a population of around 780 students (data from January 2016) and has the capacity to expand pupil numbers with the construction of new facilities that began in 2008. The school provides weekly assemblies, services, and concerts at Bristol Cathedral, and games sessions and forest school sessions for primary school students take place on playing fields near Beggar Bush Lane in Failand.

Cathedral Primary School was formerly Bristol Cathedral School and is managed by the Cathedral Schools Trust, a multi-academy trust with ties to the Church of England. The trust also manages two other secondary schools and six primary schools in the Bristol region. The school improved its results over the period from 2009 to 2016, routinely receiving reports from Ofsted.

Presiding over the school is Head of School Joseph Thurston, known for growing the school's enrollment and overseeing its expansion. Prior to Mr. Thurston, the school was headed by Neil Blundell. Notable Old Cathedralians, as they are called, include lingerie model Sophie Anderton and cricketer James Averis.

Cathedral Primary School admitted its first primary school cohort in 2013 and continues to offer a unique educational experience blending history, culture, and musical excellence in the heart of Bristol.
