Stokesay Primary School is a small, inclusive primary in Shropshire and part of the TrustEd Schools Alliance. Inspectors found it performing at a strong standard across almost all areas, with inclusion judged exceptional. Safeguarding standards are met, and leaders have created an open, positive culture where pupils feel safe and supported. Pupils achieve well and make excellent progress from their starting points. National outcomes in reading, writing and mathematics are consistently high and often above national averages, including for disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND. Attendance is high and persistent absence is falling quickly, while behaviour and attitudes to learning are exemplary. The curriculum is ambitious and well sequenced, teaching is responsive and adaptive, and early years provision gives children a happy and purposeful start. Leadership and governance are strong, with effective trust and local governance, good staff wellbeing, and strong partnerships with families and the community. No significant weaknesses were identified.
