Curriculum improvements have better prepared pupils for high school, and work to improve writing has had a swift positive impact. Leadership and governance are sharply focused on sustainable improvement, and staff and parents report better support and communication. Some areas still need development. Support for pupils with less complex SEND is not consistently strong, pupil passports sometimes lack the precision teachers need, and a very small number of foundation subjects have a weaker curriculum. Leaders' next steps are to continue developing the curriculum so pupils are even better prepared for their next steps and to make SEND support more consistent.
