Pilgrim Academy has displayed a positive trajectory since its transition to academy status and the arrival of a new executive principal and leadership team. The school is characterized by a friendly environment in which pupils feel happy and secure, enjoying their lessons and participating actively in a broad curriculum. Improvements in the quality of education have been noted, particularly in reading and mathematics, contributing to the good progress pupils are making. However, while there are notable enhancements, challenges remain regarding attendance and the sequencing of learning in some subjects, requiring further attention from the leadership team.
