The school's staff create a welcoming and supportive environment where pupils, including those with special educational needs, are happy and encouraged to achieve their best. Efforts to develop the curriculum have raised expectations for pupil achievement, although some areas, particularly reading and writing, saw below-average results in recent assessments. Nonetheless, current pupils are benefitting from effective instructional strategies that enhance their learning experiences.
