Milnthorpe Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining the standards set in its previous inspections. Pupils enjoy a friendly and welcoming environment where they feel safe and supported. The school has high expectations for all students, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), and offers a broad curriculum that engages and inspires pupils across various subjects. There is a strong emphasis on reading and communication skills, which contributes to the pupils' overall success. However, there are areas within the curriculum where connections between new and prior knowledge could be more clearly defined, which may hinder deeper understanding in certain subjects.
