De La Salle School, located in Basildon, Essex (SS14 2LA), is a coeducational institution providing secondary education to students aged 11 to 16. Established in 1972 as St Anselm's Roman Catholic Secondary School and renamed as De La Salle School in 1996, this voluntary aided comprehensive school is affiliated with the De La Sallian Brothers and the Diocese of Brentwood. De La Salle educates students in a spiritual, pastoral, and academically challenging environment by upholding the principles of French Catholic priest and educator St. Jean-Baptiste De La Salle.

The school accommodates 752 enrolled students with a teaching staff of 65. It offers extensive extra-curricular opportunities to help students develop holistically and improve their academic progress and confidence. De La Salle School serves a diverse community, promoting understanding and appreciation of different cultures. Previously, the school received Language College specialist status, reflecting its commitment to foreign language education. The headteacher of the school is Paul Norris.
