Mayflower High School is currently rated as requiring improvement overall, following its first routine inspection since the pandemic. Although many pupils are happy and feel supported, there are notable inconsistencies in the quality of education delivered, particularly in Years 7 to 11. The school has strong provisions for personal development and good sixth-form education, but challenges persist in behavior management and curriculum delivery. Leaders are aware of these issues and are working to rebuild trust and improve engagement with parents, following a troubling period for the school.
