Almeley Primary School is currently rated as requiring improvement, primarily due to the quality of education and leadership and management. While pupils enjoy their time at school and demonstrate good behavior and attitudes, there are significant gaps in the classroom delivery of the curriculum, particularly in key stage 2. The school has successfully fostered a sense of community and has established positive relationships with parents. This is the school's first inspection since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the acting headteacher, who arrived in early 2023, has made notable efforts to instigate positive changes amidst a reliance on temporary staff.
