The Lioncare School

The Lioncare School is performing well overall, with a 'Good' rating across all inspected areas including the quality of education, behavior and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. The school's nurturing environment facilitates strong relationships between staff and pupils, allowing students, many of whom have faced previous educational disruptions, to regain confidence and engagement in their learning. The curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs of pupils, integrating therapeutic supports with academic targets, thereby promoting a holistic approach to education. Despite these strengths, there are areas for improvement, particularly regarding the identification of literacy gaps in older pupils' skills and the adaptability of tasks to meet individual learning needs. While most pupils are engaged and well-behaved, inconsistencies in tailored support could impact their learning outcomes.
