The Ongar Academy is a mixed comprehensive secondary school situated on Fyfield Road in Shelley, Ongar, Essex, England. Established in 2015, the free school is part of the Bridge Academy Trust and is housed under the Department for Education's URN 141947. Planned for 800 students between the ages of 11 and 16 (with sixth form closing), the school initially functioned in temporary premises constructed using disused tennis courts, offering educational facilities including access to sports hall, dance studios, and swimming pool at nearby Ongar Leisure Centre.

The academy is divided into three houses—Agnesi, Brunel, Curie, and Darwin—and the color scheme consists of black and green. The academy's main contractor, Elliott UK, is experienced in providing purpose-built educational structures. In February 2014, the name "The Ongar Academy" was chosen through a focus group involving local parents and children. The school received official approval in 2014, and its opening was supported by over 98.9% of the local community. The academy's first Headteacher, David Grant, was appointed in October 2014. The current Headteacher is M Steadman, and the school is staffed by 65 members.
