Calveley Primary Academy is an exceptionally strong school where high aspirations are evident in pupils’ day-to-day experience. Pupils achieve highly, behave exceptionally well and benefit from a precisely planned curriculum, expert teaching and strong reading provision. Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities are identified early and supported skilfully, and the school’s inclusive culture helps all pupils feel valued and able to succeed. The early years provision, including the two-year-old provision, gives children a strong start, and pupils’ personal development is rich through roles of responsibility and a wide range of opportunities. Leadership is highly effective, with strong support from North West Academies Trust and careful attention to staff workload and well-being. Safeguarding arrangements are effective. This graded inspection did not result in an overall effectiveness grade, and no significant weaknesses were identified in the report.
