Alexandra Junior School is a highly inclusive, relationship-focused school where pastoral support and personal development are standout strengths. Inspectors also identified that spelling, punctuation and grammar are not routinely corrected in wider curriculum subjects and that pupils' depth of understanding in those subjects is less consistent. The school is part of The New Guild Multi Academy Trust and serves a disadvantaged community, with 62.8% of pupils eligible for free school meals and 34% on the SEND register.
