This was the school’s first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic and its first section 5 inspection as an academy within Derby Diocesan Academy Trust; the predecessor school had been judged inadequate. The report notes that the school has been through a period of significant change, including a curriculum overhaul and a sharp rise in pupils speaking English as an additional language.
