Ness Point School

Ness Point School provides a supportive environment for pupils who have faced negative educational experiences and are identified with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The school's efforts in creating a positive culture and developing pupil confidence are evident, as they greatly appreciate the individual attention from staff and benefit from a variety of enriching activities. The school's leadership has effectively managed its resources to ensure a good quality of education, and pupils demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning, showing improvement in their academic and personal development. Despite these strengths, there are areas that require improvement. The school needs to ensure that all staff are equipped to provide tailored support that meets the specific needs of each pupil. Additionally, the curriculum lacks clarity in some subjects regarding the essential knowledge and qualifications that pupils should acquire, which impacts the overall learning experience and outcomes. Addressing these issues will further enhance the quality of education and learning for the pupils.
