The curriculum is ambitious and designed to meet the needs of its students with autism, ensuring they make steady progress and are well-prepared for their next steps, including a range of qualifications in Year 11. Strong relationships between staff and pupils contribute to a supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and cared for. However, some inconsistencies exist in the implementation of the curriculum, affecting how well some pupils achieve. While the school has taken steps to improve expectations and staff well-being, certain strategies, particularly in developing life skills and careers programs, are still in progress and not fully embedded.
