King Edward VII School has shown significant improvement since its last inspection, raising its overall effectiveness to a good rating. Leaders have effectively addressed previous safeguarding concerns and implemented robust systems to ensure pupil safety. The school provides an ambitious curriculum that is particularly supportive of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), although consistency in the support for these pupils still needs attention. The positive behaviour of students and the encouragement of personal development initiatives, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, contribute to a constructive school environment.
