Crosby Ravensworth CofE School is a small, warm and caring Church of England primary where pupils feel happy, welcome and part of a close community. The school has high expectations and pupils achieve well across a broad and balanced curriculum, including in mixed-age classes. Behaviour is good, pupils are polite and respectful, and they understand the school’s values of community, courage and compassion. Pupils benefit from a wide range of enriching experiences, strong personal development opportunities and effective support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Safeguarding is effective, attendance is strong, and governors, staff and parents share a clear vision for the school. This was the first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic, and a significant number of new governors have been appointed since the previous inspection.
