Iford and Kingston Church of England Primary School has made effective strides in maintaining the standards previously established at their last inspection. The school creates a warm and welcoming environment where pupils thrive academically and socially. Since joining the Skylark Federation, the school has fostered high expectations and strong leadership, enabling improved educational outcomes, particularly in reading. Pupils display positive attitudes toward learning and benefit from a wide array of extracurricular activities and support systems, fostering their individual talents and interests. However, there are areas requiring attention. The school acknowledges inconsistencies in delivering the curriculum across foundation subjects and the need for stronger foundational skills in English for younger pupils. Additionally, while there have been improvements to the support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ongoing efforts are necessary to ensure all students receive the appropriate assistance. The school continues to engage with parents to enhance their confidence in behavior management and overall school processes.
