Great Ellingham Primary School continues to demonstrate good performance overall, as noted in its recent inspection. The school has implemented an ambitious and well-organized curriculum that effectively prepares pupils for secondary education. Teachers exhibit strong pedagogical skills, helping students to develop essential knowledge and skills while encouraging a positive learning environment. However, the school needs to address certain gaps in staff expertise, particularly regarding reading interventions for some pupils in key stage 1. Additionally, the lack of extra-curricular activities since the COVID-19 pandemic has limited students' opportunities for outside interests.
