Ormiston Maritime Academy has made significant progress since its previous inspection, moving from a grade of requires improvement to now being rated as good overall. The school has established strong relationships between staff and pupils, fostering a positive environment where students feel safe and happy. Leaders have implemented clear routines and high expectations, resulting in improvements in behavior, although there remains a small minority of pupils who struggle to follow rules consistently. The curriculum is ambitious, particularly with the introduction of the English Baccalaureate, providing more opportunities for students to engage in a broad range of subjects.
