Washingborough Academy remains a good school with a strong and inclusive culture that values all pupils. The school promotes high expectations and positive relationships among students and staff, making it a happy place for learning. The curriculum is designed thoughtfully, taking into account the needs and interests of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Notable initiatives, such as the school's commitment to sustainability and personalized learning approaches, contribute to a vibrant educational environment. While the school excels in many areas, such as reading and mathematics, some newly introduced curriculums have yet to be evaluated for their impact on pupil attainment. Additionally, although attendance has improved, it remains a concern as some pupils do not attend regularly. Leaders are aware of these areas needing development, and it is commendable that they are actively working on strategies to enhance attendance and monitor curricular implementation effectively.
