Hardwick House School, an independent special school located in Loughborough, is positioned to meet independent school standards following a recent material change inspection. The inspection indicated that the school's safeguarding measures are robust, with effective policies and training in place. The leaders demonstrate an understanding of the needs of students, especially those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), which is vital given that all pupils at the school have an education and health care plan. The school is likely to successfully implement its proposed increase in pupil capacity from 42 to 52, with planned recruitment for additional staff to support this growth.
