Dobwalls Community Primary School has made significant improvements since its last inspection, moving from a previous grade of Requires Improvement to Good. The school is described as friendly and welcoming, with high expectations for student achievement. Pupils feel safe and are encouraged to develop valuable life skills. The curriculum has been enhanced through the support of the South East Cornwall Multi Academy Regional Trust, which has laid out ambitious goals for students from Reception to Year 6. However, there are concerns regarding the consistency of phonics instruction and assessment practices that need to be addressed to ensure all pupils progress adequately in their literacy skills.
