All Saints CofE Primary School is a diverse, inclusive school where pupils feel safe and are well supported. Safeguarding standards are met. The inspection found strong practice in inclusion and in personal development and wellbeing, while achievement, attendance and behaviour, curriculum and teaching, early years, and leadership and governance are at the expected standard. The school has a new headteacher who took up post in September 2024, is a Church of England school, and has a 12-place specially resourced early years SEND provision for children aged 2 to 5. It is located in an area of well-above-average deprivation, with pupil numbers and proportions of pupils with SEND and eligible for free school meals close to average. Leaders are strongly committed to inclusion, and pupils with SEND or disadvantaged backgrounds are identified quickly, supported effectively and make progress from their starting points. Pupils behave well, attendance is in line with national averages, and personal development is a notable strength, with a wide range of clubs, trips, careers events and community activities. Early years provision is strong, particularly in language development, phonics and support for children with SEND. Leadership is well regarded, staff receive high-quality training and feel valued, and parents are positive about the school. The main areas for development are in writing and spelling, where teaching should more consistently take account of pupils' starting points, contexts, needs and stage, and in key stage 2, where pupils need to develop the skills to complete independent work successfully across all subjects. Leaders are also focused on increasing the proportion of pupils working at higher standards. Published results are broadly in line with national averages overall, though reading and writing have been below national averages in some recent years, and the disadvantage gap remains a focus, particularly in writing and reading.

Admissions: local authority offers data from the Department for Education. A school is oversubscribed when at least 5% of the families who put it first were not offered a place, and undersubscribed when everyone who put it first got in but 10% or more of its places were unfilled in the Department's school capacity survey (the latest survey is used for entry years it does not cover). Places: Department for Education, School capacity, from local authorities' annual survey as at 1 May. Each year is the one the school year ends in (2025 is 2024–25); the survey was not run in 2020. Places include sixth form places. Forecasts are the local authority's own for the school's planning area, an area it uses to plan places that is not the school's catchment area. The forecast starts from a head count in 2025; the dashed line is the Department's estimate of places in that area, including those the authority has firm plans for. Planned places are cumulative, and only those with firm plans are counted.

Turnover and sickness figures run one year behind the ratios. Sick leave is the share of teachers who took at least one day in the year, so it swings widely at small schools, where a few teachers can make it 0% or 100%.
