Thomasson Memorial School continues to demonstrate good performance as a specialist institution for deaf children aged 2 to 16. The school has created a welcoming environment where pupils feel valued and supported. With a strong emphasis on communication, the curriculum has been significantly overhauled, providing a broad range of subjects that cater to individual needs, including lessons in British sign language and deaf studies. Most pupils achieve well from differing starting points, thanks to effective teaching methods and specialized support, particularly in a community that fosters social skills and personal growth.
