St Gabriel’s Church of England Primary School continues to demonstrate its strong performance as a good school. Pupils express enjoyment in attending, feeling safe and showing respect towards one another in alignment with the school's core values. The school maintains high expectations for pupil achievement, with effective support in place for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), allowing all students to thrive academically. The curriculum is well-designed and ambitious, catering to the interests and needs of the pupils, along with a strong emphasis on personal development through extracurricular activities. While the majority of teaching is effective, there are minor areas needing improvement, particularly in a few subjects where assessment strategies are not as strong. This results in gaps in pupils' knowledge not being addressed swiftly enough. Overall, the school is well-regarded by both staff and governors, who contribute to ongoing improvements and a positive working environment. This inspection is the second ungraded one since the previous inspection in November 2014, reaffirming the school's good standing.
