Churchill Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is a caring, inclusive primary where pupils feel safe and are kind to one another. It was judged good across the main areas of education, behaviour, personal development and leadership, with outstanding early years provision; this was its first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic and, under current arrangements, no overall effectiveness grade was given. Areas for Improvement

• In a few subjects, the sequence of knowledge and skills is not clear enough, so pupils do not always recall key content or link it to prior learning.
