Kisimul School is a specialist educational setting for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. The inspection revealed that the school provides a nurturing and well-structured environment where pupils feel safe and valued, leading to notable progress in their communication, emotional regulation, and life skills. The leadership team demonstrates a clear understanding of the school's strengths and areas needing improvement, actively working to meet the individual needs of pupils while preparing them for adulthood. However, there are areas for enhancement in monitoring and aligning the curriculum, specifically in phonics and progress tracking for different pupil groups.
