Rollesby Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school. Pupils enjoy their learning experience, with teachers effectively engaging them in a variety of subjects. The school fosters a strong community spirit, ensuring that all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, are fully supported and encouraged to participate in school activities. The newly redesigned curriculum enables pupils to build connections with their prior knowledge, helping them achieve well academically and develop a passion for reading. However, there are identified areas where the school needs to improve, particularly in providing sufficient opportunities for pupils to deepen their understanding and apply their knowledge in new contexts. While the school demonstrates notable strengths in personal development and behavior, it faces challenges in ensuring all teachers consistently extend pupils' learning. This has resulted in some students not fully developing their fluency in mathematics and writing. Importantly, this is the first inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic, which the school has addressed in its evaluation and ongoing efforts to support both pupils and staff.
