Priory Junior School exhibits a strong overall performance with a rating of good in all evaluated areas. The school prides itself on its inclusive environment, where leaders set high expectations rooted in their PRIDE values. The atmosphere within the school is calm and orderly, fostering respectful behavior and engagement among students. The curriculum is ambitious and well-structured, particularly in reading and mathematics, helping students to achieve strong academic outcomes. However, there are some areas for improvement, particularly related to the support provided to pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and the consistency of assessment practices across foundation subjects. Some pupils may not be receiving the necessary adaptations to their learning, which could impact their achievements. This inspection marked the school's first routine evaluation since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which the inspectors considered in their assessments.
