Arthur Mellows Village College is a highly effective, ambitious secondary school where pupils thrive in a welcoming and vibrant community. Behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and sixth-form provision are exceptional, while the quality of education is strong. Pupils are happy, respectful and highly motivated, benefit from a broad curriculum and extensive enrichment, and achieve well, including students in the sixth form. The school is part of The Four Cs Academy Trust and has a new headteacher appointed in September 2023. This was its first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic, and inspectors took the pandemic's impact into account.
