The Mountbatten School continues to perform well, maintaining a good standard of education recognized in previous inspections. The school fosters a supportive and inclusive community where students are encouraged to excel academically and personally. Many students enjoy the extensive extracurricular opportunities available and the school’s broad curriculum that includes artistic and technical options. While the overall achievement of pupils is commendable, there are some concerns regarding the consistency in teaching effectiveness, especially in meeting the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Efforts to improve these areas are underway, supported by strong leadership and a commitment to staff development.
