The school is performing well overall. Pupils enjoy attending, most behave well, and staff know pupils and families well. The curriculum has been implemented across all year groups, staff are well trained, pupils with SEND are very well supported, and early years provision gives children a very strong start. Safeguarding is effective, and pupils use technology confidently and learn about faiths, tolerance and online safety. Leaders, trust and governance have close oversight and staff feel supported. The main areas for improvement are the consistency of spelling and vocabulary teaching, and attendance and punctuality for some pupils. While a robust attendance approach has reduced absence slightly, some pupils still miss learning through irregular attendance or lateness. The report also notes that curriculum improvements are not yet reflected in published outcomes. This is a school that has experienced significant change, including a larger roll and new leadership, and it is part of Oasis Community Learning. It was previously judged outstanding and has not had a section 5 inspection since 2017; under current arrangements it receives no overall effectiveness grade.
