However, some inconsistencies remain. Teaching is not uniformly highly effective: assessment and questioning are not consistently used to deepen pupils' understanding across all subjects and year groups. Consequently, some pupils do not develop the detailed knowledge and high-quality work of which they are capable. The school's analysis of personal development participation is at an early stage, meaning leaders cannot yet be certain that all pupils, particularly those facing barriers, fully benefit from the wider offer. The next steps rightly focus on embedding consistently strong teaching and sharpening evaluation of the personal development provision.
