Court Lane Junior Academy

Court Lane Junior Academy has been maintained as a good school, showcasing a supportive and inclusive environment where all pupils have the opportunity to thrive. The school excels in promoting mental health and well-being and provides strong academic support, especially for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Parents commend the caring atmosphere, and pupils engage well in a wide range of extracurricular activities which enrich their school experience. The leadership fosters a strong sense of community, and the school is well-prepared for future challenges as it navigates its first ungraded inspection since its last judgment in 2018. Nonetheless, while the curriculum is well-planned and pupils achieve alongside national averages, there is an identified need for improvement in ensuring that all subjects facilitate consistently high levels of pupil progress.
