Atlas Community Primary School is a warm, nurturing and inclusive primary academy where pupils feel safe and are exceptionally well behaved. Inspectors found strong ambition and significant improvement since the previous inspection, with leaders, governors and the Priestley Academy Trust having focused successfully on reading, curriculum, teaching and attendance. Pupils study an ambitious curriculum and achieve well, while personal development and early years provision are particular strengths. Reading is taught with precision and expertise, and pupils with SEND are securely identified and generally well supported.
