Five Acres High School, located in Coleford, Gloucestershire (GL16 7QW), is a dynamic academy dedicated to secondary education for students from ages 11 to 16. Established in 1914 as Five Acres Council School, it originally served local communities Berry Hill and Coleford and has evolved through its history, becoming an Academy in 2017 as part of the sponsor-led Greenshaw Learning Trust. The school was closed and replaced the previous Lakers School in 2017, whose closure had resulted from being in Special Measures since 2016.

Five Acres High School is a mixed school with a current enrollment of 605 students in four houses—Cannop, Clearwell, Ninewells, and Lightmoor—identified by their respective colors. The school's core values include Ambition, Confidence, Creativity, Respect, and Determination. It has access to the Five Acres Leisure Centre, located on the same site as Gloucestershire College, which previously shared its campus.

Simon Phelps is the current Head Teacher, following the departure of Ben Parnell, who oversaw the conversion to an Academy and took on the role when Lakers merged with the Greenshaw Learning Trust. The school's catchment area extends to Joys Green and Lydbrook residents, and it had fed students to the adjacent Royal Forest Of Dean Grammar School prior to the Grammar School's closure.
