Bishop Barrington Academy is performing well with an overall effectiveness rating of 'Good'. This is the school's first inspection since it opened in September 2021, and it has shown significant improvements in both leadership and curriculum design. School leaders have set high expectations for both behavior and academic achievement, which are reflected in students' positive conduct and engagement in the school community. The curriculum has been redesigned to better prepare students for their future, and pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive effective support, enabling them to achieve well. However, challenges remain, particularly in ensuring that all students attend regularly, as too many are currently absent and missing important learning experiences.
