betaSt Francis of Assisi Catholic College is a mixed Roman Catholic secondary school located in Walsall, England, at Erdington Road, Aldridge, WS9 0RN. It has a proud history starting as a Catholic school and was later known as St Francis of Assisi RC School, before becoming St Francis of Assisi Catholic Technology College in 2003, and now operates under its present name.
The school caters to approximately 1,000 students, from ages 11 to 18. The student population includes about 110 students in its sixth form (years 12 and 13). Enrollment priorities are given to baptized Catholic children from Catholic primary schools in Aldridge, Brownhills, Lichfield, Shelfield, Streetly, Tamworth, and Walsall.
St Francis of Assisi Catholic College is known for its charitable events, such as an annual Breast Cancer Awareness Week and a shoe box appeal for the Support Our Soldiers charity, which fundraise and provide support to various initiatives. Its values, captured in the motto "Nil Satis Optimum" (Latin for "Only the best is good enough"), are reflected in its academic and pastoral support for students.
