Little Aston Primary Academy is currently rated as requiring improvement in several key areas, particularly in the quality of education and leadership and management. While the school fosters a positive environment where pupils feel safe and display good behavior, there are concerns regarding the support for pupils in reading, particularly for those who struggle. Although many pupils enjoy their time at the school and participate in various extracurricular activities, some are not receiving the necessary help to achieve their reading potential. Additionally, not all parents feel adequately informed about their children's progress, highlighting a need for better communication between the school and families. This is the school's first routine inspection since joining the Staffordshire Universities Academies Trust in December 2020, which is being noted as part of the context for their evaluation.
