Burnley Brow Community School continues to maintain its status as a good school where pupils flourish and feel valued. The leadership team is ambitious for all students, providing robust support especially for those who are learning English as an additional language and those with special educational needs. Most pupils achieve well, with a strong emphasis on language development and reading in the early years. The school has a positive culture where behaviour is well-managed, and pupils are engaged in their learning, demonstrating perseverance and respect for others. However, there are a few concerns regarding the implementation of the curriculum in some subjects, where not all specific knowledge set by leaders is adequately taught. This has resulted in some pupils not achieving to their full potential in those areas. Despite these challenges, the overall atmosphere at the school reflects a commitment to safeguarding and pupil well-being, with staff dedicated to understanding and supporting every pupil's needs. This inspection marks the second ungraded review since the school's last judgment in 2014, and it highlights the continuing dedication of the school to offer quality education.
