Inspectors found leadership secure at all levels, a logically sequenced curriculum, strengthened SEND provision and strong personal development. Pupils feel safe and cared for, relationships with families are a notable strength, and safeguarding is effective. The school's reading and phonics work is a particular strength, early years provision is effective, and outcomes for current pupils are improving, although national assessment outcomes remain below average.
